smoothie: spinach, strawberries, frozen almond milk cubes, greek yogurt, chia seeds
I’ve been eating this salad all week & loving it! Yes, it’s a recycled apple picture again. I keep eating them & forgetting to take pics.
Had plenty of these for a snack. I love them ! So happy that Trader Joes has them back in stock!
I had the goji & milk thistle nut butter. It was fantastic! I’ll tell you more about these nut butters soon!
Here’s the sequence of the brussels sprouts: marinate in olive oil, salt&pepper, balsamic vinegar, grill, enjoy! I had some broccoli slaw with nutritional yeast atop!
I’m jsut saying that everyone should enjoy each & every day. It’s so hard to be in the moment & be grateful, but it’s so important. I’m done with my soapbox, just had to say it!
As for my experience with my Skora shoes. I have to tell you that they’re really cozy. It’s so interesting how they say that with Skora you run with your foot hitting mid foot when you run as opposed to the traditional way of striking the heel first & then the toes. I was a bit skeptical, but that’s what happened with me! It took a few minutes for my body to get into a rythm, but I got there & wound up running at a nice clip! The shame of it is that I did get a blister.
It’s certainly not the worst blister I’ve ever had, but it didn’t feel good either.
I tried the Skora shoes without socks, as they can be worn that way. Well, I won’t be wearing those babies without socks again. I will give them another shot, however I’ll be wearing socks next time. They’re cozy to wear around & am hoping that they’re cozy with socks. I will try a short run with them along with socks next time!
